Bernhard Langer

Bernhard Langer is a German professional golfer. 

He turned professional in 1972 and has won many events in Europe and the United States, among them The Masters in 1985 and 1993. He was the inaugural World Number 1 when the Official World Golf Rankings were introduced in 1986, and he became a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001.

He ranks second in career wins on the European Tour, with forty and has also played regularly on the U.S. based PGA Tour, especially in the late 1980s and since 2000. . He was non-playing captain of the victorious European Ryder Cup team in 2004.

Langer is married to wife Vikki Carol with whom he has four children.  They have homes in both Langer’s birthplace of Anhausen, Germany and in Boca Raton, Florida.

He is known to be a devout Christian and when not playing golf, he enjoys speaking about Christianity.

Fred Funk

Fred Funk is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour.

Funk is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he earned a degree in law enforcement.  In 1981 he turned professional; however, he went back to his university to become the golf coach from 1982 to 1988.  It was in 1989 that Fred became a member of the PGA Tour.

From 1992 onwards, he won a number of tournaments but was never considered to be one of the top stars.  However, he did reach the top 20 on the career money list.  He was a member of the U.S. team at the 2003 and 2005 Presidents Cup and the 2004 Ryder Cup.

Today, Funk has become eligible for Champions Tour events and has committed to play in the 2006 U.S. Senior Open.  When he turned 50 in June 2006, he was ranked in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings. 

Fred has always been a popular player on tour and even has his own fan base, calling themselves "Funk’s Punks." He currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Curtis Strange

Curtis Strange is a professional golfer best known for his play in the 1980’s.  Throughout his career he has 17 PGA Tour victories, 16 of which came in the 1980’s. 

He topped the PGA Tour money list in 1985, 1987, and 1988, when he became the first man to win a million dollars in official money on the Tour in a season. His two major championship victories were the 1988 and 1989 U.S. Opens.

During his tenure on the PGA Tour, he was a member of five Ryder Cup teams and in 2002 was the captain of the Ryder Cup team. 

In 2005, Curtis began playing on the Champions Tour and his best finish to date is third place.
