
Alyssa Milano began her career at the age of eight, winning a part in an open audition for a national tour of Annie.
She quickly gained a reputation that led her to appear in TV commercials as well as off-Broadway theater productions. At the age of ten she took a role starring as ‘Sam Micelli" in the television program "Who’s the Boss?"
She was known for this role for the majority of her career. In 1985, Alyssa appeared in Commando, playing the role of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter. Eventually, the actress took part in several adult film roles, many of which included nudity or graphic simulated sex scenes. She made the transition to an adult actor with her success on TV series "Melrose Place" and "Charmed".
In 1989, Disney used her image for the character development of ‘Ariel’ in The Little Mermaid. In 2001, Alyssa Milano appeared in commercials for 1-800-COLLECT.
Aside from her acting career, Milano is also an accomplished singer and recording artist. She has released five albums reaching sales of over one million copies in Japan and has appeared in a music video for Blink-182.
