Ali Larter was born on February 28, 1976. She is a Saturn Award-nominated American actress and former fashion model best known for her screen roles aimed at teenage audiences. Larter can currently be seen on the hit television series Heroes. She has also had roles in successful Hollywood films including, Varsity Blues (1999), House on Haunted Hill (1999), Final Destination (2000), Legally Blonde (2001), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) as Claire Redfield and the upcoming thriller Obsessed (2009) as Lisa Sheridan.

In 2007, Larter starred in the Bollywood Marigold as the title character alongside Salman Khan, which was released in August. Alison Elizabeth Larter also joined the cast of the popular film franchise Resident Evil: Extinction portraying the character Claire Redfield in the horror film with Milla Jovovich. Her role sent her to Mexicali, Mexico for filming from May to late July in which she also dyed her hair a light red for the film. Larter explains on her character Claire, "She became the leader of this convoy. She’s incredibly strong, patient. I think she serves a role for everyone within this convoy, let it be a mother to someone, a buddy, a best friend." Ali Larter also attended the 2007 Comic Con International, her second appearance at the event, to promote the film, which was released in theaters on September 21, 2007. This year as well, she will appear in the comedy Homo Erectus. Larter was also featured as #6 in Maxim’s Hot 100 for 2007.

In an interview for Resident Evil: Extinction, Larter had expressed interest in producing films in the future, saying, "I definitely have many ideas and different avenues that I want to take as my career goes on."

In March 2008, it was announced that Larter would star opposite Beyonce Knowles and Idris Elba in the Screen Gems-produced film Obsessed, about an office worker whose marriage to Knowles’ character is threatened by the aggressive interests of a co-worker, to be portrayed by Larter. Shooting began in the summer of 2008. "Obsessed" is slated to be released in April 2009.

She is a good friend of actress Amy Smart with whom she co-starred in Varsity Blues and Erick Alegria, a former Sam’s Kid. Larter has also lived in Miami and then New York City after the spring of 2002, where she studied at Michael Howard Studios. In January 2007, she moved to Los Angeles to take on the commitment of working on Heroes. Larter is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, actor Hayes MacArthur.

Gwen Stefani was born on October 3, 1969. She is an American recording artist and fashion designer. Stefani fronts the rock band No Doubt, whose 1995 album Tragic Kingdom propelled them to stardom, selling 16 million copies worldwide. It spawned the singles "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don’t Speak". The band’s popularity went into decline with its fourth album, Return of Saturn (2000), but Rock Steady (2001) focused on dancehall production traits, and generally received positive reviews. Stefani recorded her first solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. in 2004.

The album was primarily inspired by music of the 1980s, and emerged an international success with sales of over seven million. The album’s third single "Hollaback Girl" became the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies. Stefani’s second solo album The Sweet Escape (2006) yielded "Wind It Up", a moderate worldwide success, and "The Sweet Escape". Including her work with No Doubt, Stefani has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

She won the World’s Best-Selling New Female Artist at the World Music Awards 2005. Stefani is known as a fashion trendsetter. In 2003, she debuted her clothing line L.A.M.B. and expanded her collection with the 2005 Harajuku Lovers line, drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and fashion. Stefani performs and makes public appearances with four back-up dancers known as the Harajuku Girls.

Alicia Keys was born on January 25, 1981. She is better known by her stage name Alicia Keys, is an American recording artist, musician and actress. She was raised in the Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan in New York by her single mother, where Keys made a television appearance on The Cosby Show at the age of four. She attended Professional Performing Arts School and graduated at 16. She later attended Columbia University before dropping out to pursue her music career. Keys released her debut album with J Records, having had previous record deals first with Columbia and then Arista Records.

Brooke Burke was born on September 8, 1971. She is an American television personality, model, and occasional dancer known for hosting Wild On! (1999–2002) and Rock Star (2005–2006) and for winning the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars.

Burke worked as a model for Venus Swimwear and Frederick’s of Hollywood. From 1992 to 2002, Burke became well-known while hosting Wild On!, a popular travel series on the E! Entertainment Television channel, replacing previous host Jules Asner. As part of the series, she traveled the world extensively, profiling many popular travel destinations. Burke first appeared nude during her early modeling career for the website BlueNudes and most notably after gaining fame in the May 2001 and November 2004 issues of Playboy. She also appeared in lad mags such as Maxim, Stuff, and FHM. In 2007, she was listed as one of Blender’s hottest women of film and TV.

Brooke Lisa Burke has fronted infomercials promoting a Swiss ball video home fitness workout named Gunnar Peterson’s Core Secrets, and appears in the first video of the series titled 20 Minute Full Body Workout. The infomercials have screened in New Zealand and Australia.

In 2005 and 2006, Burke hosted the CBS summer reality show Rock Star, an American Idol-like series in which aspiring singers competed to become either the frontman or frontwoman for a rock band.

She was the voice and face of "Rachel Teller" in Electronic Arts’ video game Need for Speed: Underground 2, and asks the "People and Places" questions in the video game Trivial Pursuit Unhinged. Burke starred as a playable character in the Burger King advergaming title PocketBike Racer and in Big Bumpin’.

In 2007, Burke started a company called Baboosh Baby, which offers wraps for pregnant women. The company’s website features a blog from Burke about her children. In 2009, Burke hosted NBC’s pre-show for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards with Tiki Barber and Nancy O’Dell.

Burke, along with Derek Hough as her partner, won Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars. Burke also starred in the TV show host edition of The Weakest Link.

Franziska van Almsick

Franziska van Almsick was born on April 5, 1978 in East Berlin, Germany. She is a German swimmer. She won her first Olympic medals in 1992 at the Barcelona Olympic Games aged fourteen. Her career begun at the SC Dynamo Berlin. Over her career, Van Almsick earned ten career Olympic medals, none of them gold. She ended her career at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.

In 1993, she was named by Swimming World magazine as the Female World Swimmer of the Year. Her son Don Hugo was born on January 7, 2007.

In the 1996 Olympic final, van Almsick finished second to Claudia Poll of Costa Rica. Four days later, van Almsick swam the leadoff leg for Germany in the 4x200m relay. In Atlanta, she picked up another silver medal in that relay, as well as a bronze in the 4x100m relay, and she finished fifth in the 100m freestyle and sixth in the medley relay. At the 2000 Sydney Games, van Almsick swan the third leg in the 4x100m relay as Germany missed the medal podium by only 1/100 of a second. After contesting the 200 free and the 200m butterfly, she swam the leadoff leg in the 4x200m relay, earning yet another bronze medal.

Finally, she swam the butterfly leg in the medley relay, as Germany placed fourth, only 17 hundredths of a second short of the bronze medal position. Van Almsick’s, career medal total stands at four silver and four bronze. At the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, she added two medals to her tally: a bronze in the 4x200m freestyle relay and another bronze in the 4x100m medley relay. She also finished 4th in the 4x100m freestyle and 5th in the 200m freestyle
