Sir Ian Murray McKellen was born on 25 May 1939, He is an English stage and screen actor, the recipient of the Tony Award and two Academy Award nominations. His work has spanned genres from Shakespearean and modern theatre to popular fantasy and science fiction. McKellen is known to many for roles such as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy and as Magneto in the X-Men films.

McKellen has also taken his activism internationally, where it caused a major stir in Singapore. Invited to do an interview on a morning show, he shocked the interviewer by asking if they could recommend him a gay bar. The program immediately ended. Homosexuality is illegal in Singapore.

Milena Markovna Kunis was born on August 14, 1983. She is an American actress. She is best known for her television roles, playing Jackie Burkhart on That ’70s Show and providing the voice of Meg Griffin on the animated series Family Guy. Milena Markovna "Mila" Kunis is also well-recognized for some of her roles in film, such as Rachel Jansen in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and as Mona Sax in Max Payne.

Kunis has had several large film roles which she obtained during or after That ’70s Show such as the teen film Get Over It with Kirsten Dunst, American Psycho II: All American Girl with William Shatner, After Sex, Boot Camp and Moving McAllister with Jon Heder and Ben Gourley. Kunis’s breakout performance was in the role of Rachel Jansen in the 2008 movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall which also starred Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Russell Brand, Jonah Hill and Bill Hader. The performance won her rave reviews and a "Teen Choice Award" nomination. She is currently starring alongside Mark Wahlberg in the 2008 action movie Max Payne, portraying character Mona Sax. The film is based on the popular video game of the same name. Up next she will star alongside Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman in the comedy Extract.

Vanessa Hudgens was born on December 14, 1988. She is an American actress and singer. She made her debut in 2003 appearing in the Hollywood films Thirteen and Thunderbirds, before reaching fame in 2006 after appearing as Gabriella Montez in the Disney Channel film High School Musical hit series. Hudgens began a music career and released her debut album, V, in 2006. Her sophomore album, Identified, was released July 1, 2008. Vanessa Anne Hudgens is currently a Neutrogena spokesperson, the face of Sears and Ecko footwear.

Hudgens reprised her role as Gabriella for the third time in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. She also will appear on the High School Musical 3 soundtrack, performing songs such as "Can I Have This Dance" and "Walk Away". Also, the song "Can I Have This Dance?" was released as a promotionl single from the soundtrack, with the song being released on iTunes but later removed. She also presented an award in the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards along with the rest of the HSM cast. Hudgens and the cast of HSM 3 launched a European promotional tour to promote the movie. Vanessa made only $2 million for the film, reportedly due to the photo scandal that hurt her image She is currently in talks to star in the movie adaptation of the novel, Dreary and Naughty.

Hayden Panettiere was born on August 21, 1989. She is an American actress and singer. Hayden is best known for her character of Sheryl Yoast in Disney’s Remember the Titans during the early part of her career, and her current starring role as Claire Bennet on the NBC television program Heroes.

Panettiere was nominated for a Grammy in 1999 for A Bug’s Life Read-Along. She recorded a song called "My Hero Is You" with a video for the Disney Channel movie she starred in, Tiger Cruise. She recorded a song titled "I Fly" for the Disney movie Ice Princess she co-starred in. She recorded a song for the compilation Girlnext and another song for Girlnext 2. She also recorded a cover for DisneyMania 5. She recorded a song titled "Try" for the 2007 Bridge to Terabithia soundtrack and a ballad called "I Still Believe" for Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.

Hilary Ann Swank was born on July 30, 1974. She is a double Academy Award winning American actress. Her Hollywood film career began with a small part in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992) and then a major part in The Next Karate Kid (1994), where she played Julie Pierce, the first female protégé of the sensei Mr. Miyagi. She has become known for her two Academy Award-winning performances: first as Brandon Teena, a transgender man in the movie Boys Don’t Cry (1999), and a struggling waitress-turned-boxer, Maggie Fitzgerald, in Million Dollar Baby (2004).

Swank starred in The Reaping, a horror film released on April 5, 2007, in which she plays a debunker of religious phenomena. Swank convinced the producers to move the film’s setting from New England to the Deep South, and the movie was being filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when Hurricane Katrina struck. Swank also appeared in the romantic comedy P.S. I Love You alongside Gerard Butler, an actor for whom she has much praise. It was released at the end of 2007.

Swank received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, January 8, 2007. Hers was the 2,325th star presented. Variety online reported in February 2008, that Swank would be portraying Amelia Earhart, and be co-executive producer for a biopic titled Amelia. Filming occurred in the summer of 2008 in a number of international locations. Swank is also attached to star in the Hollywood remake version of Intimate Strangers.
