Amy Brenneman starred as Officer Janice Licalsi on the television police drama NYPD Blue from 1993 to1994, during the first season and part of the second.
Brenneman was the creator and executive producer of the television series "Judging Amy" and she also starred in the hit series. Brenneman portrayed a divorced, single mother working as a Family Court Judge in Hartford, Connecticut.
Judging Amy ran on CBS for six seasons and 138 episodes from September 19, 1999 to May 3, 2005 to good ratings. Currently, Brenneman is married to director Brad Silberling.
